Post-Graduate Master course in Restorative Dentistry and Aesthetic - 6th EDITION
From march 2022 to november 2022 the sixth edition of the POST-GRADUATE MASTER COURSE in RESTORATIVE and AESTHETIC DENTISTRY will re-start. The program and the speakers are amazing and we are proud and inspired for this new adventure.
The Department of Cariology and Operative Dentistry, joined the Department of Endodontics, both directed by Prof. Elio Berutti, is located within the structure of Turin University Dental School Lingotto (Dean: Prof. Stefano Carossa). Dental School, inaugurated on February 2008, is part of San Giovanni Battista Turin University Hospital Facility and is situated on the 2nd and 3rd floor of OttoGallery Lingotto (for a total surface of 16.000 m2) in via Nizza 230, Turin (Italy).
The Department of Cariology and Operative Dentistry represents a youthful reality in full growth. The Section activity, that covers education, research and clinical assistance, is coordinated by Prof. Nicola Scotti and his team of young under-graduate students and post-graduate doctors. In this stimulating environment comes to life the Department work, supported only by people’s passion for the Operative Dentistry.
The Department is composed by 5 operative units used for didactic and clinical activities. State of the art appliances together with ultimate conception materials, provided by the leading companies on dental field, are at doctors’ disposal for clinical assistance of patients. In this place, under-graduate students perform every kind of restorations on patients, providing documentary evidence of all clinical cases through radiographs and pictures that will be presented and evaluated during the final exam. Post-graduate doctors supervise and follow students’ clinical doings in order to guarantee an efficient education and a great result for the patient. Together with the clinical didactics, post-graduates’ role also includes the resolution of complex cases and the treatment of people affected by serious systemic illnesses.
Great importance is also given to research activity that covers most of the Operative Dentistry topics. Each member of the team develops one or more research projects, both in vitro and in vivo, following his/her own personal interests. In this way, it is possible to produce a complete and various research, always motivated and renewed by young people peculiar curiosity. The result of this scientific production is the participation on prize poster competitions of the most important national and international meetings, the publication of articles on impact factor journals and numerous scientific communications.
